two things led me to get really excited about emilys and neils wedding... an awesome invite and mayday poles. it only got better when the reception room was filled with origami birds, bunny cake toppers, fans, laterns, a beautiful setting in piedmont park, and a wild smilebooth. emily and neil just oozed love in front of the camera so it only took a short time to get the shots we wanted. to make this wedding even better they heard michaels mixes from shana and robs wedding and instantly hired michael and it became another official flashdance wedding.
the colors in these bridemaids dresses are lovely.
WOW! This was an amazing day! The love, the light, the weather, the ceremony, the dancing- it was all fabulous!
catherine and nathan had their reception and ceremony at the King Plow Art Center... a beautiful place. On most days it is a photographers dream to shoot there because the light falls so nicely. The first shot up is the incredible dress...
hydrangeas and babies breath... very nice choice! Tulip
the glowing bride about to put on the dress.
i love this shot....Catherine's red hair with the warm sunlight and yellow posts!
The whole group was fun...
the ceremony (note the very cool babies breath wreaths on the back wall)
"honey, what would you look like with a head of babies breath?"
BIG Georgia Tech Fans....the mascot showed up!
...and ate cake.
a very appropriate ring shot (in the pom-pom).
They also had the GT car- so fun!
Congratulations, Catherine and Nathan!
Elaine and Brad. Such a beautiful couple who deserved every bit of their gorgeous day. We first met last November when we did an engagement session, and I've been big fans of them since then. Elaine is sweet, loving and thoughtful, and will make you feel right at home in any environment. Brad is perfect match, always making her laugh, and keeping every situation light and cool. I was also super excited to work with Ayesha + Kelly of Homespun on this wedding. These girls go the extra mile, and I'm always blown away by their creativity and kindness. You can also take a peek at some more of their skills from Ayesha's wedding, here.
Thanks again for having me Elaine + Brad.
