katrina+matt

06.04.08
we got to meet matt and katrina for the first time on the wedding day since they were from d.c. they were so incredibly sweet and calm that our job was made easy. They were married at the oldest church in Atlanta, The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and had a reception to follow at the trolley barn in inman park.
the dress...
the beautiful bride...
matt's gift to katrina was an "IOU" kitty. they are moving to london soon when they get there they'll get a cat. katrina was very happy. here is the evidence:
her dad made very special efforts to incorporate his old car into wedding. it was so fabulous. as we drove down peachtree, we got a lot of attention. at one point there was a man on the side of the road that said " now that is 'gangsta'". katrina interpreted, "thats a good thing, dad".
as cool as it was, the car was feeling a little tired after a long drive and kept cutting out. it just added to the excitement.
the handsome groom and his men...
a prayer before...
this shot makes me laugh. the ring bearer made a speech at the podium but this was all we could see: )
the cake topper.
the yummy cupcakes.
affairs to remember to an exquisite job..
dejablue covered pretty much any current song with a bluegrass twist. so cool!
a little cake smear...
