uta and bruce

Right after i photographed this wedding i looked at Whitney and said "wow, everyone at that wedding had the iamareallykindhuman gene". the whole day was such a pleasurable experience. The ceremony was sweet and simple, the weather was incredible for march, the reception was held at an old house in marietta, and the kids were so fun to be around.
i just cracked up when Uta and Bruce were sitting in the rocking chairs and in a split second Uta rocked back to kick up her feet to show me the I Do. pretty cute.

the engagement of meg and chad

04.23.09
6:00 am up and at em'! Meg was on the hunt for a dewy field, vintage dress and crisp light. oh, yeah...somewhere near atlanta. i had faith they could find it and they did. except the dew was frost. and meg had bare feet. i learned quickly that she is going to be an amazing bride. and of coarse chad was a gentleman and surprised her with a propain heater to keep her warm in the 30 degree weather. hence, we are thrilled to the nines to be a part of the wedding. wait...one more thing about chad...he brought a swing and set it up for meg and the set up is harder than it seems. such a sweet couple....

kathryn + patrick

04.23.09
Kathryn and Patrick composed such a perfect, elegant, simple wedding with a classic vintage feel. The ceremony was held in the garden of the primrose cottage. They just returned from missionary work in Africa for their southern wedding. Between Kathryn and Patrick and their wonderful family and friends, they are doing amazing things all over the world. It was inspiring and refreshing to hear all about it during the toasts. And then to top the cake, Patrick can rap! So he broke into a rap and had the whole wedding party dancing along. it was very impressive.
