if i had a "sweet couple award" these guys would be the first couple to get one! they have a long, lovely future ahead of them. Not only were they so kind to each other but they were so wonderful to everyone who was around them. Whit and i had already connected with them at the engagement shoot. Thank you for hosting such a beautiful wedding that whitney and i could admire through our camera lens!

sheree and song...let me count the ways how we loved thy wedding. 1) you two were so easygoing and had a great vision for the day..it was all about love mixed with a whole lot of fun 2) i can't even express how insane your smilebooth was...mustaches, heart shaped glasses, tiaras. the props were so great that the guests kept them on most of the night which meant happy photographers. 3) old "castle" reception with incredible light. 4) awesome family and friends 5) super cool cake topper 6)etc, etc, etc...

what a great weekend! we had two brilliant weddings on one weekend. lauren and michael held their sunday wedding at the magnolia hall in piedmont park. we had been looking forward to this wedding since lauren had called to tell us she hired a marching band from grady high school to lead the guests to the reception site. they had kept this a secret to all of the guests. the walk was about a 10 minute walk so their were plenty of onlookers in the park cheering on the bride and groom!

whitney and i loved every second of this wedding! we were really looking forward to meeting megan and rick as well as photographing a wedding near water. we don't get much of that here in georgia. the wedding took place at the ritz carlton at reynolds plantation- a spectacular place to have your wedding especially in the fall. it was all so beautiful. we all headed out to take some photos and as we settled on the docks...the rain started to come! luckily we had a covered golf cart. we caught a moment of a rainbow that just happened to lead to megan. good find rick!

Mary and Steve had such a delightful wedding in Atlanta, Georgia. The reception was held in the ballroom of the Biltmore...Whitney and i love shooting here because it is so detailed and ornate. To top of this exceptional wedding they hired King Sized one our favorite bands here in town. "Big Mike", the singer, knows how to work a crowd young or old so the reception was a blast. i have never seen a father of the groom with so many moves. first up, one of my favorites...
