zeina and wes are so. in. love. it makes you feel lovey just being around them. out of the blue zeina will run up and steal a kiss from wes and you find you're smiling just because you're nearby. these two split up the wedding celebration over two days. day one was a small ceremony in atlanta and then a cook-out at stone mountain with that same group of family and friends. day two was a formal reception at puritan mill with a much larger group. (by the way, i have no idea how all the details and everything came together because zeina planned everything in 5 weeks. from out of town! it's mind-boggling, really.) there were tons of details -- croquet and painting and s'mores at the cook-out and then beautiful bright green decor (my favorite color) at the formal reception. zeina's family is lebanese and wes's is chinese so the dancing was amazing. zeina's uncles and brothers started to lift wes's dad in a chair for a dance and he insisted that they throw him in the air like they'd done to wes. it was awesome. without a doubt, these two are perfect for each other. i hope there isn't a policy about falling in love with clients... thank you so much, you two, for twirling and smooching and sharing such a special weekend with us.

we're so excited about this texas pair's wedding in austin this summer. they flew to atlanta for this shoot and we had quite an adventure braving pollen, potholes and u-turns and a lake that tried to swallow david (um, he fell in -- ego bruised, camera survived. their wedding is by a lake, too, so hopefully that wasn't foreshadowing for david...) monica's cute shoes, by the way, are the color inspiration for her big day. and if all these photos aren't cute enough, their wedding site is in 3-d. amazing. see you two in june!
