we introduced you to this pair in june. they're ooey gooey sweet around each other and both have great senses of humor.
we had fun the whole evening-- as sarah gave a quite uh, stunning a cappella rendition of r kelly's "i believe i can fly" while we photographed her and her lovely bridesmaids, as sarah walked down the aisle stunning all of their friends and family, as we snuck the wedding party onto the country club's forbidden golf course, as this crew jumped like old pros for photos, as friends gave great toasts, and as everyone moved their feet on the dance floor.
and naturally, as georgia grads, we were big fans of the sophisticated red and black theme, as well as the super cute 'i do' and 'mr. and mrs.' napkin ties.
thanks for taking us along for the ride, you two! congratulations!

sarah and sam's wedding was on a lovely october day at the historic trolley barn in inman park in atlanta. i'm such a fan of short wedding dresses and bird cage veils, so i just loved sarah's cute get-up.
their wedding was a southern affair -- with southern fried chicken and shrimp n grits on the menu. they had one of the most amazing bands we'd ever heard play -- big swing & the ballroom blasters, a 10-piece band accompanied by three beautiful singers who did doo wop moves in unison.

thanks for sharing your day with us, sarah and sam!

here's the thing about ashley and mike, they grew up together and though they're young, you'd think they'd been together for decades and you just know, after only a couple minutes with them, that's they're meant to be together and that they will be together for decade after decade after decade.
their sweetness and completely in-love-ness makes you want to love better.
the philly couple's wedding was on the beach of block island, rhode island, where they'd spent vacations with ashey's family for years. it is a magical place and wasn't hard to figure out why they chose to say their vows there. the wedding, their family and friends, the dancing (oh my goodness, the funniest and most energetic we've ever seen) were all so amazing and perfect. ashley and mike had done everything themselves--from making tofu sticks and vegan desserts, to ecofriendly gifts for their guests, to the accordion menu cards. see, we'd show you photos of that but every time we narrowed the photos for the blog down, the majority of our favorite photos were of ashley and mike, and, really, i'm sure you can see why.
thank you so much, you two, for inspiring us to love harder and for sharing your lovely family and friends and magical island with us.
