We happen to think this is one of the greatest couples ever, but we are also biased because it's David's little sis and soon-to-be brother-in-law. Jesse and Whitney will be shooting their wedding so we can partake in the festivities (and because they're the best wedding photographers. ever). We had the opportunity to do an engagement shoot for them though and it was a blast. David never thought he would utter the words, "can you give my sister a kiss?" while hovering over them with a camera... but miracles happen every day. Here's a few from the day:

noa'd bat mitzvah 11.15.08
We had an absolute blast photographing Noa's Bat Mitzvah at the Mason Muir Gallery here in Atlanta. It was our first Bat Mitzvah and Noa's mom and dad did not let us down. The gallery offered wamazing décor, a fun dj, a make-your-own bobble-head music video station, and of course yours truly. We had a chance to do a portrait session with Noa and her family prior to the celebration and they are such a tightknit loving family so it was great to get to see everyone again.

We frequently turn the camera on each other since we pretty much eat, sleep and breathe photography. This weekend we decided to do an impromptu fashion shoot with a dress Kendrick bought at a thrift store. So we drove out to rural western South Carolina to a gutted building. We left the fancy lighting gear at home and just worked with natural light and some small speedlites. Here are a few from the day:

susan + jamie 11.01.08
Susan and Jamie's wedding was all a photographer could ask for and more. A wedding at one of our favorite venues, King Plow, a really cool laid-back couple, and a masquerade-themed wedding for Hallowen. When we first heard that guests would be wearing costumes, we thought maybe a few people would dress up, but nearly everyone showed up in costume. It was such a memorable, beautiful, yet quirky wedding. Priceless.
