I got to wander my own neighborhood in Atlanta with this beautiful family. It's hard to call heading to the park and laughing work, so pinch me.

A few years ago, I did a regular photo column for LUCEO about sisterhood. I loved talking to women about the bonds they share with other women. My mom and little sister are two of the people I respect most in this world so I was excited when I got an inquiry from Kelly about photographing her daughter, mother and grandmother in a four generations shoot. These are the photos that will be treasured for years and years and I was honored to be the one who captured the love of this family. Also, Kelly's husband and son joined in at the end for a couple photos, as well.
Best,

We were in Brooklyn to shoot a fabulous park wedding (we'll share that soon) and because Anjeli keeps up with us, she reached out and asked if we could swing by to photograph her beautiful one month old son Oliver.
Anjeli and Shawn were one of our favorite couples we have ever worked with. They had an amazing Irish Indian wedding two years ago and in our wildest dreams we wish to emulate the absolutely amazing dancing at our own wedding next May. This pair also made it to our annual LUCEO gallery show in NYC. We were excited to catch-up again and felt the love when we walked into their beautiful apartment and the photos we took at their wedding were everywhere.
Oliver is one lucky baby (who can resist that little tuft of red hair?). We hope to see these three again. |

we promise to catch up soon, but we wanted to say that just because we're not posting doesn't mean we're not super busy. it's quite the opposite. we've got some really sweet weddings under our belts, just last weekend we led two workshops at the atlanta photojournalism seminar, and now kendrick is in arizona working on a documentary project for a week.
but, since we know you're hungry for photos, we wanted to post this to tide you over.
this is from the beautiful san miguel de allende, guanajuato, mexico. |
