Kendrick + David (Our Wedding!) 07.05.12
Hey y'all, so we got married in May on the weekend of our 6th anniversary. We made it a beach weekend in St. Pete Beach, Florida (no, neither of us are from there, we just found the perfect spot).

I know I'm a little biased, but it was the best weekend. All our friends and family met each other and rode a boat on a sunset dinner cruise, danced on a patio, did yoga, swam in the ocean, and watched us say "I do" on the beach.

And we know lots of photographers, probably 1/3 of our guests were photographers, and we hired Our Labor of Love's Matt and his assistant Meghan to be the official recorders of this day. We wouldn't have had it any other way.

Oh, and guess what! The Green Wedding Shoes blog featured our wedding in two parts. Check it out here and here.

We love to do shoots just for fun. That might sound a little odd since we stay really busy taking photos for wedding and editorial and corporate and commercial clients, but even after all that work is done, we still love shooting more because we honestly just love taking photos. We always have our cameras on us whether we're "on the clock" or off. We did this shoot in particular to play around with some creative ideas that had been cooking in our heads for a while and it was fun to see them play out finally.

To curious photographers, all of this was done IN CAMERA. Fun, huh?

Thank you to this trio (two of which, Julia and Amber, work for Our Labor of Love) for being so fun to explore the countryside in the sun and the downpour with.

Allison + Jason 06.14.12
Allison and Jason's wedding was a beautiful, intimate love poem. Set in an Atlanta garden, the heat didn't stop anyone from laughing or dancing until the sun went down.

What more can we say than "YAY!"?

Congratulations, you two!

Erin + Rich 05.31.12
Erin and Rich knew what they were doing. They found each other. They planned a wedding that was so uniquely them. They laughed (nonstop) and enjoyed themselves and danced their hearts out.

And they assembled one heck of a team, too: Amy Osaba did flowers that always make everything sparkle, Ashley Baber did all her planning and coordinating magic, and we took the photos. Hey, the gorgeous North Georgia historic gardens backdrop certainly didn't hurt either.

Congrats, you two!! Your wedding was unforgettable!
