Julie + Chad 06.27.14
You know what I loved about this wedding? Being reminded how truly beautiful love is. Both romantic and familial love. Somehow, oddly enough, that's an easy thing to overlook and take for granted.

Julie and Chad's wedding was tiny. When I say tiny, I mean there were 13 people... including the bride and groom. And then us. Tiny. It was intimate and full of sparkling, warm, heavy love. It took place at Ravenscroft Estate in Montecito, California, which might as well be a paradise frozen in time and, when we arrived early to scout, we were ecstatic because it would actually be difficult for us to take a bad photo.

With a wedding this small, you feel it harder. You feel like you're in their bubble of love. You tear up when mom gives an eloquent, thoughtful speech; your foot taps while everyone dances on the tennis court under the bougainvillea and the stars; you chuckle when the bride throws back her head and lets out her ebullient laugh because you're one of the few people in the world invited to witness such an event.

Thank you Julie and Chad for making our hearts beat a little harder. We've seen a wedding or two in our day and you are blessed with an incredible family and an unbeatable love.

Every wedding should have a hora. Period.

Jaime and Mike's wedding was resplendent--a wonderful couple who were each other's perfect complements, a delicious feast, a rockin' band, hundreds of friends and family, a colorful autumn backdrop, and sweet getaway car fit for James Bond. What more could ya ask for? Oh, Chick-fil-A? Yep, they had that, too!

Congrats, you two!

Erin + John 11.10.13
Erin and John got married on a beautiful autumn day just outside of Atlanta. Here's the recap: beautiful bride with *stunning* eyes, cutest flower girl in history, a groom with such ingenuity he figured out an AWESOME solution to a killer get-away car that wouldn't start (see below), insane dance moves to an unstoppable band, and a sunset that should be on a top ten list. Congrats, you two!

Jennifer + Matthew 10.30.13
A big rainstorm couldn't stop this wedding. Friends and family watched Jennifer and Matt kiss with huge smiles on their faces and drenched hair and soggy dresses and suits.
Jennifer is the little the sister of one of our dearest friends. We love this pair. The groom is goofy and his bride is sweet. They got married in beautiful coastal South Carolina, surrounded by live oaks and Spanish moss.
It was a day that won't soon be forgotten, rain, dance moves, heartfelt speeches and all.
